The Hezbollah terrorist attempted to flee on a motorcycle but was pursued and hit by the drone, IDF footage showed.
Earlier on Wednesday, soldiers from the same unit, the 226th Reservist Brigade under the 146th Division, located a booby-trapped pit belonging to Hezbollah terrorists, containing an explosive device weighing approximately 900kg.
The soldiers also located a stockpile of mortar shells and rockets belonging to Hezbollah terrorists.
Additionally, Hezbollah launched several explosive drones towards IDF soldiers operating south of the military's Forward Defensive Line in southern Lebanon, the military said.
No IDF soldiers were injured in either of the two separate instances, the military confirmed.
