The Prime Minister's Office on Saturday said that chief negotiator Yitzhak Molcho will depart for Washington next week in order to advance the peace process with the Palestinians. He will be joined in the US by a representative of the Palestinian Authority.

The statement noted that the move was a result of an agreement reached between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and US Mideast envoy Dennis Ross in meetings this week.
