Moshe Kahalon appointed as new social services minister

Welfare and Social Services Minister, and former Labor minister Isaac Herzog handed over his role on Monday to MK Moshe Kahalon.

Kahalon was appointed to the role by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

Herzog said that Kahalon would carry on his legacy and told the newly appointed minister that he needs to focus on the plight of Holocaust survivors and children at risk.
