Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said Tuesday night that the world must treat the Iranian nuclear program like Israel, Army Radio reported.

“All the attention the international community is giving to the Iranian program must take into account a similar approach to,” he was quoted as saying.

He added that, “even though we openly reject Iran’s stance and actions in the region, we are against military action against it.”

Mubarak added that has the right to develop nuclear capabilities, but the onus is on to show that it is designed for peaceful means only.
