Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and State Comptroller Joseph Shapiro met Tuesday along with their respective advisors in regard to the comptroller's probe of last summer's Operation Protective Edge against Hamas in Gaza.

The premier presented his position on the issue and answered to inquiries from the comptroller's team, said a statement from the Prime Minister's Office.
