Netanyahu opposes soldiers testifying at Turkel C'tee

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is opposed to inviting IDF officers and soldiers to testify before the Turkel Commission, Israel Radio reported on Sunday.

IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi reportedly asked Netanyahu to prevent a major internal investigation, in which every officer and soldier involved in the flotilla incident would have his own lawyer. Netanyahu reportedly agreed with Ashkenazi.Israel Radio reported that a high-ranking official in Netanyahu's office confirmed this.
