Netanyahu speaks with Jordan's Abdullah about recent tensions on Temple Mount

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Jordanian King Abdullah on Thursday to discuss recent tensions between Muslim and Jewish worshipers on the Temple Mount.

Netanyahu stressed to Abdullah that Israel is committed to maintaining the statue quo on the Temple Mount and both leaders called for an end to incitement and violence. On Wednesday, Netanyahu said during late emergency security consultations on the growing violence in Jerusalem.
