New Yesh Atid candidate hints he received high spot on list

Yesh Atid candidate Ofer Shelach hinted that he has received a prominent place on the party list, during a live chat on Facebook Wednesday in which users of the social media network were invited to ask him questions.
Shelach, who quit his job as a Ma'ariv journalist on Tuesday, would not reveal what number on the list he has been given, but affirmed that he was happy with his spot.
He stated that his career in journalism was a large factor in his sense of urgency  to act, change and fix fundamental aspects of the way the country is being run.
He stressed that he has known party leader Yair Laid for a long time and trusts him.
When questioned on which issues were most important to him, he named security as his first and foremost concern. He also listed economic and social issues, and purported that all these issues are connected.
He emphasized his belief in Yesh Atid's principles, and said that they would only join a government that would enable them to fulfill their goals.
