Noam Schalit, father of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Schalit, was slated to meet Wednesday with Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz (Likud) and Infrastructures Minister Uzi Landau (Israel Beiteinu), Israel Radio reported. Steinitz and Landau, two hawkish government ministers, are assumed to be against a deal in which hundreds of terrorists would be released in exchange for Schalit. Schalit's father is also expected to meet with Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger and Chief Sephardi Rabbi Shlomo Amar.
