PA firefighters denied permits for ceremony in their honor

The Palestinian firefighters, who helped put out the Carmel fire earlier this month, were denied permits to enter Israeli territory in order to participate in a ceremony to honor them set to take place Tuesday in Usfiya.

The commander of the Palestinian firefighters told Israel Radio that he had received no explanation for the decision.
