About 100 Palestinian activists gathered in the town of Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem, and were waving flags and blocking traffic.

Security forces were on site and gave the demonstrators time to vacate the road near Hizma Square in the town near the security barrier. Police and Border Police were prepared to disperse the crowds by forces in the event that it was not disband.
