If Iran's fuel and energy infrastructure is attacked, US and Israeli infrastructure will be targeted, the Iranian Armed Forces Unified Combat Command, also known as Khatam al-Anbiya, threatened early on Sunday morning.

"If the enemy attacks fuel and energy infrastructure, all energy, information technology, and desalination infrastructure belonging to the US and the regime in the region will be targeted," a spokesperson said.

Iranian state broadcaster denies apparent IRGC infographic issuing evacuation warning for Doha

Khatam al-Anbiya's threat comes after Iranian state broadcaster, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) denied the validity of an apparent Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps infographic issuing an evacuation warning for Doha, Qatar, on Saturday.

The alleged IRGC infographic warned "all residents and citizens in Doha, Qatar," to leave the area immediately, according to an infographic shared Saturday night on social media.

Also on Saturday, Qatar's Interior Ministry, while not specifically referencing the infographic, called on the public to "refrain from spreading rumors or sharing unreliable information."

The Gulf state's capital has been "used to host US forces and interests, and its media platforms have been promoting violence against the Iranian people," the alleged IRGC message claimed, making it a "legitimate target."

The apparent infographic also highlighted the headquarters of the Al Jazeera Media Network.

"Repeated warnings have been issued to your leaders about the dangers of this path, yet they chose blind allegiance, making decisions imposed from the outside rather than reflecting the will of their people. Their media outlets have continued to threaten and incite violence against our population. They bear full responsibility for all consequences," the statement read.

The areas marked in the apparent evacuation warning did not appear to include Doha International Airport, Hamad International Airport, or the Al Udeid Air Base, which hosts a large contingent of the US Central Command's air force.

Saudi Arabia orders Iranian military attache, four embassy staff to leave

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia informed Iran's military attache, his assistant, and three members of the embassy staff that they must leave the kingdom within 24 hours after being declared persona non grata, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said on Saturday, citing what it described as continued Iranian attacks on Saudi territory.

Saudi Arabia has come under attack by hundreds of Iranian missiles and drones since the start of Operations Roaring Lion and Epic Fury on Iran, the vast majority of which have been intercepted, authorities said.

The ministry said in a statement that continued Iranian attacks would lead to further escalation and have "significant consequences" for current and future relations.

On Wednesday, the Saudi foreign minister said the kingdom reserved the right to act militarily against Iran ‌and any trust with Tehran had been shattered following recent attacks.

Saudi Arabia and Iran re-established diplomatic ties in 2023 as part of an effort to calm tensions after years of enmity that saw them back opposing political and military factions in the region.

The Israeli-US operations and Tehran's subsequent attacks on Gulf neighbors have disrupted oil and natural gas exports from the Middle East and forced production stoppages.

G7 ready to act to protect global energy supplies, backs Strait of Hormuz security

Additionally, the foreign ministers of the Group of Seven countries said on Saturday they stood ready to take necessary measures to support global energy supplies and reaffirmed the importance of safeguarding maritime routes, including in the Strait of Hormuz.

"We ... express support to our partners in the region in the face of the unjustifiable attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran and its proxies," the ministers of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as the top EU diplomat, said in a statement.

"We condemn in the strongest terms the regime’s reckless attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure, including energy infrastructure," they said.

Bahrain cites Patriot interception in March 9 Iranian drone incident

Meanwhile, Bahrain's government on Saturday said that a Patriot air defense system was involved in the interception of an Iranian drone over a residential area of Bahrain on March 9, an incident that the US military had characterized as a direct Iranian drone strike.

At the time, Bahrain said 32 civilians had been injured, including children who required medical treatment, and the US military said an Iranian drone had struck a residential neighborhood.

On Saturday, a government spokesperson said the kingdom had been subjected to multiple Iranian drone attacks that day, and that the interception over the Sitra district had prevented a drone strike and saved lives.

"During this incident, the Patriot air defense system intercepted an Iranian drone aerially," they said.

"Had the Iranian drone impacted the residential area, it would have resulted in significant loss of life."

CENTCOM at the time denied reports from Russian and Iranian media that a US Patriot missile had failed to intercept an Iranian missile or drone and instead inadvertently struck a residential area.

The US‑made Patriot surface‑to‑air missile defense system is designed to intercept missiles, drones, and other aerial attacks.

It has been used by the United States and Gulf Arab allies, including Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar, to protect cities, energy infrastructure, and military bases from Iranian missile and drone attacks during the Iran war.
