Palestinian reports: IDF forces fired shots, wounding two in Gaza

Hamas medical officials on Saturday said IDF forces had shot and lightly wounded two Palestinians in the Gaza Strip during the day.
Gaza health services spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said Israeli soldiers shot a 16-year-old near the security fence between Israel and the Palestinian Strip's southern city of Khan Yuni, AFP reported.
An IDF spokeswoman said Israeli forces had shot in the direction of Palestinians approaching the border. The army was not aware of any injuries in the incident.
Palestinian news agency Ma'an also cited medics in Gaza as saying IDF forces stationed near the enclave's northern border had opened fire on Saturday on a fisherman off the coast of the Strip.
The IDF said two suspects had approached the northern Gaza border on Saturday prompting soldiers to warn them to retreat. After the two failed to heed to the warnings, the IDF forces fired warning shots in the air and shots toward the suspects' legs.
