Pe'er edges closer to top-10

Shahar Pe'er moved to within just five ranking points of a top-10 world ranking on Monday.

The 22-year-old Israeli remained at No. 11 in the WTA rankings with 3,030 points, with Serena Williams in 10th place with 3,035 points.

Pe'er begins her clay court season in Charleston this week.

Dudi Sela dropped out of the world's top-100 on Monday, falling nine place to No. 105.
