Police arrest 3 in connection to Al-Furra murder

Police on Monday night arrested three members of a family, of which the father is wanted for allegedly murdering two young Beduin girls in the village of al-Fura, Army Radio reported.
The father's family are suspected of kidnapping the brother and friend of the mother of the murdered girls.
The indictment that police filed against the arrested men on Monday showed that the three committed the act in order to warn the wife's family away from arranging secret meetings between herself and the two girls, who she was separated from by the father.
The father has still not been found and a large-scale operation is under way to locate him. The investigation is being handled by the Negev branch of the YAMAR special investigative unit.
The bodies of the girls, aged three and five, were found in a house in the village showing signs of violence, including strangulation.
