Police in Netanya arrested a 52-year-old man who embarked on a robbery spree on Tuesday morning, attempting to mug seven people while riding on a moped and wielding a commando knife and club. The suspect has a past criminal record of property crimes. After uncovering the man's identity, officers waited for the suspect outside of his home, where they arrested him upon his return in possession of the knife and stolen goods seized from the morning's robberies. A search of the man's apartment by police revealed stolen cell phones, cameras, and other electronic devices.
