Police helicopter unit commander retires after 17 years of service

Cmdr. Oded Shemla retired as Head of the police's Helicopter Unit on Sunday, after 17 years of service. Shemla was appointed commander of the unit in 2003. He was replaced by an airforce commander and pilot identified only as "N" during a ceremony attended by Police Commissioner Insp.-Gen. David Cohen and Police Operations Cmdr. Bentzi Sao.
