Security forces thwart attempted stabbing attack in West Bank

Israel security forces arrested a Palestinian woman on Sunday morning who tried to stab a security guard at the gate of Ma'aleh Shomron, a settlement in the West Bank, according to police reports.

As security forces approached a car near the entrance to the settlement, the woman driving threw a knife at the officers and attempted to escape. The woman was arrested and taken into custody.

There were no injuries reported in the incident.
