Poll: 34% see Netanyahu as best choice for PM

A plurality of Israelis think that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is the best choice for the job, a Knesset Channel/Dahaf poll released Wednesday showed.

According to the poll, conducted on Tuesday, 34% of Israelis said Netanyahu was the best choice for premier, 16% chose Tzipi Livni and 14% picked Labor's Shelly Yacimovich.

Another 7% chose Naftali Benet of Habayit Hayehudi and 6% chose Netanyahu's number two, Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman.

The poll surveyed 325 people and had a margin of error of 5.4%.
