A PLO delegation presented the Damascus government on Wednesday with an initiative to protect and pacify Palestinian refugee camps in Syria, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported.
The plan called for fighting in the camps to cease, freedom of movement and the reconstruction of infrastructure that had been damaged from fighting, Ma'an cited the chairman of the PLO's Refugee Affairs Department Zakaia al-Agha as saying.
According to the report, the initiative also formulated for the release of Palestinian prisoners who were allegedly being held erroneously by the Syria government.
