The United Nations Security Council may voted on the Palestinian application for full membership in the world body in early November, official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Wednesday.

A Western diplomat told AFP that discussion in the Security Council may take place on November 11.

Palestinian envoy to the United Nations Riyad Mansour said that the Security Council will hold an ambassadors meeting on November 3 to make sure the Palestinian application meets UN criteria, following a meeting by the committee of experts examining the membership request, WAFA reported.
