Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin eulogized deceased Ariel mayor Ron Nachman on Sunday, calling him a "rare breed" and

"Ron, you were a rare breed, a descendant of the builders of this country. For you, a vision was tested by the ability to make it a reality," Rivlin said at Nachman's funeral.

Rivlin described Nachman's dream to develop Ariel and see it grow into a city, and his hard work in making it a reality.

"In your actions you taught us a lesson in Zionism: if you will it, it is no dream," he added.
