A large gas leak in the Ein Kerem neighborhood of Jerusalem caused a temporary road closure on Wednesday afternoon. Some of the residents from apartment buildings near the leak were evacuated from their homes as a precaution.

The leak, on Ha'achiyot Road, was under control at 4:00 PM after patrols of policemen, firefighters, and employees of the gas company fixed the problem. No one was injured.
