Roadside bomb kills 13 in Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan — The Afghan government said a roadside bomb has killed 13 civilians in eastern Afghanistan Wednesday.




The Interior Ministry said in a statement that they were traveling in a motorized rickshaw in Khoshamand district of Paktika province when their vehicle struck the bomb early Wednesday. The statement said women and children were among the dead.
