US Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro on Wednesday hailed US President Barack Obama's "strong" State of Union speech.

On his Facebook page, Shapiro wrote: "A strong speech from President [Barack] Obama. My interpretation: A stronger America at home will be a stronger America to the world."
