Shots were fired at police officers in Shfaram overnight Tuesday when they attempted to break up a riot that erupted between Druse and Christian youths in the town. At least ten bullets hit a police car, but no officers were hurt. Reinforcements were sent to the scene to control the rioters, and police also used a helicopter to monitor events on the ground.
