Syrian Observatory: Turkey clashes with jihadists on Syria border

BEIRUT - The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based war monitor, said on Sunday that Turkish forces had exchanged fire with Tahrir al-Sham, a Syrian jihadist alliance, near the village of Kafr Lusin on the border between the countries.
On Saturday Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said Syrian rebels backed by Turkish forces would launch an operation in that area, which is mostly controlled by Tahrir al-Sham.
