Syrian TV: Forty killed, 100 wounded in Damascus blasts

BEIRUT - Forty people were killed and 100 wounded in two blasts which struck Damascus on Friday, Syria's Dunia television channel reported, quoting its correspondent on the scene.

Dunia said most of the casualties in the explosions, which struck near security sites in the capital, were civilians.
