Toy gun addressed to Begin mailed to the Knesset

Jerusalem police on Tuesday announced that an envelope containing a toy gun and addressed to MK Bennie Begin (Likud) had been mailed to the Knesset building.

Together with the plastic handgun, a letter scribbled with unintelligible handwriting was also found inside the envelope, which was not delivered directly to Begin's office.

Knesset guards had reportedly increased the inspection of mail entering the building in response to the incident, and police said that an investigation into the matter was ongoing.
