Turkish authorities confirmed on Saturday that one of the Israelis wounded in the suicide bombing in a bustling tourist district of Istanbul died in the attack.

Earlier on Saturday, there were unconfirmed reports that three Israelis had died in the blast.

Thus far, five people have been confirmed killed and at least 36 others were wounded.

Foreign Ministry officials are trying to make contact with a dozen Israelis believed to be in Turkey.

Diplomats are also trying to ascertain the conditions of at least nine other Israelis hospitalized in four different locations in the Turkish city.
