Two Hamas men were killed in an explosion in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza on Friday night.
The military wing of Hamas said in a statement that the two of the group's fighters were killed while on a "holy mission." The statement did not elaborate.
Palestinian Health Ministry official Dr. Moawiya Hassanain confirmed that two men were killed by the blast and that their bodies were taken to a local hospital.
