Two Hapoel Tel Aviv soccer players were released from detention in Sweden on Friday afternoon, Israel Radio reported. The two, Douglas de Silva and Itai Shechter, were arrested on Friday morning on suspicion that they raped a young woman in their hotel room. Swedish authorities said that there was not enough evidence to serve an indictment against the players, according to Israel Radio, and the two were set to return to Israel later Friday night.
