A man who stole a car in Herzliya was killed in a crash after escaping police, killing the uninvolved driver as well, Channel 2 reported Tuesday. The man was running from police after they set up a barrier on Highway 5 to stop the car he had stolen. Upon reaching the road barrier, the man tried to escape police by foot. He was then hit by a private car on the highway driving in the opposite direction, killing the driver as well. The victims' identities have not been released.
