WASHINGTON - The United States still intends to close the military prison at Guantanamo Bay despite Monday's decision to put five Sept. 11 conspirators on trial before a military commission there, US Attorney General Eric Holder said on Monday.

Holder also said the death penalty can still be sought for self-professed Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four co-conspirators.
