Uri Messer case closed due to insufficient evidence

The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office informed the city's district court Monday that it had decided to close the case regarding lawyer Uri Messer's involvement in the "Holy Land" affair due to insufficient evidence.

The message was delivered during the trial of former prime minister Ehud Olmert and his former aide Shula Zaken for their involvement in the real estate corruption scandal.
