Tel Aviv Police's Central Unit on Monday arrested a woman in her fifties on suspicion of attempting to smuggle into the country more than two liters of GHB, a date rape drug.

The drugs were discovered at Ben Gurion Airport as they were passing through customs inspection. Police detectives followed the address written on the package to the woman's Ramat Gan apartment.

The suspect is believed to have smuggled additional packages of GHB into the country in the past.
