RADWARE ANNOUNCED that its APSolute OS software has passed strict tests to achieve certification with the Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme, achieving Evaluation Assurance Level 3 Certification from the National Information Assurance Partnership Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme Validation Body. The Common Criteria is a globally recognized standard for assessing the security features and capabilities of information technology products.
TEL AVIV-BASED wireless broadband solutions company Alvarion Ltd. said its BreezeACCESS VL system has been chosen by Inter-Connect, an Internet Service Provider and major broadband provider in the Democratic Republic of Congo, to improve and expand its broadband wireless network. Alvarion's BreezeACCESS VL's enhanced features of non-line-ofsight operation, encryption and quality of service support combined with its high capacity and extended reach of more than 20 kilometers allows carriers, mobile operators, ISPs, enterprises and others to enjoy the benefits of broadband services in license exempt frequencies.
JERUSALEM-BASED Orionsolar Photovoltaics Ltd. has completed development of an advanced second generation photovoltaic solar energy cell, which significantly reduces the cost of producing solar electricity using polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic cells.
AMDOCS, MEANWHILE, has announced the availability of three new solutions for the financial services market, which complement the "Dynamic Banking" model pioneered by Amdocs. The new solutions include Amdocs Dynamic Pricing and Product Bundling Solution, Amdocs Customer Communications Solution, and Amdocs Mobile and Micro-payments Solution. Dynamic Banking helps retail banks achieve greater profitability by offering personalized service and product packages to customers.

Finally, GAIL Limited, the Gas Authority of India, has selected ECI Telecom's optical networking solutions for the expansion of its nationwide Gail-Tel South Expansion network. ECI's equipment will support this long-haul SDH regional network that will span thousands of kilometers and increase GAIL's capacity to deliver services as a carrier of carriers.
