2 Frenchmen involved in killing of Lee Zeitouni indicted for fraud
The two fled the scene of accident that killed Lee Zeitouni in 2011.

The two French nationals involved in the hit-and-run accident that killed a young Israeli woman, Lee Zeitouni, in Tel Aviv in 2011 were indicted in France for fraud.The French daily paper Le Parisien reported on Friday that the two, Eric Robic and Claude Isaac Hayat, were indicted and temporarily imprisoned by a local judge in the town of Bobigny near Paris.Le Parisien judicial sources say that the two are suspected of having participated, together with four other suspects, in a fraud offense, adding that the investigation was opened in March on several issues: car-leasing, misleading advertising, and false transfer of money via Poland and China to Israel.In the Zeitouni affair the two are accused of failure to assist a person in danger, and one of them is accused of manslaughter.The two fled the scene of the accident and soon after took a flight to Paris. Israel demanded their extradition, which was refused by the French authorities.
