The Representative Council of French Jewish Institutions, an umbrella organization of local Jewish organizations issued a statement expressing concern on behalf of the Jewish community and calling for a 'swift' investigation. On Wednesday, the window of the Al Haeche kosher restaurant located in the 19th district of northeastern Paris just a mile away from the synagogue that was shot at a day prior, was found with bullet holes, reportedly fired from an air gun.
