State Comptroller-elect Michael Rabello, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s personal attorney, was elected on June 3 as Israel’s next state comptroller after a dramatic and disputed Knesset vote.
The study revealed that the majority of the public in Israel, 55%, sees internal polarization and disagreement as the most dangerous threat to the country’s continued existence.
"The term of the Netanyahu government began with a civil war, continued with the massacre of the seven in October, and ends with a historic failure against Iran," said Bennett.

Gotliv was unimpressed by Amit Segal’s report on Netanyahu’s intention to cancel the Likud primaries, saying that he was "diminishing the leadership strength of the Prime Minister."
This is Likud’s lowest figure since August 2025, when it received 21 seats in a Maariv poll. However, the coalition bloc maintained its strength from last week at 50 seats.
"How is it possible that the budgets, development, and benefits that reach the other communities never reach the ultra-Orthodox population centers in Judea and Samaria?" Goldknopf asked.
The decision comes as leaders of northern local authorities have sharply criticized the government for failing to provide adequate support and aid to residents amid the ongoing security threat.
