Everyone has already seen the Bar Refaeli-makes-out-with-a-geek Super Bowl commercial, or so it seems, but several other ads from the big game had Jewish and Israeli connections.

For example, Judd Apatow favorites Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd try to one-up each other to much hilarity in this Samsung ad:

Next, Taco Bell has Mr. Bernie Goldblatt breaking out of a nursing home and spending a wild night with his elderly friends.



Finally, Israeli company SodaStream took on "Big Soda" – Coca-Cola and Pepsi – in this game day ad, which promptly got it banned. They still have over four million hits on YouTube, though.





Actress Zosia Mamet, daughter of acclaimed playwright David Mamet, is one of the breakout stars of popular HBO show "Girls," and is also starring in a new Off-Broadway play Really Really. Mamet told Jimmy Fallon about how supportive her dad is, since, as she says, her "little brother got the smarts in the family," and didn't want to go to college.



In reality TV news, a rabbi from Minnesota is taking Shark Tank by storm. Rabbi Moshe Weiss is pitching an iPad sound amplifier that costs only a dollar to make, but is selling for $13. Later in the episode, FuBu CEO Daymond John offered Weiss $54,000 to get the project off the ground, in exchange for 40 percent of his company's shares.
