A mortar attack in NATO's largest base in southern Afghanistan, left three soldiers wounded, an alliance spokeswoman said Saturday.
The attack occurred late Friday in Kandahar Air Field, a vast military base and airport on the outskirts of city of Kandahar, said Lt. Col. Angela Billings, a spokeswoman for NATO.
Billings did not identify the wounded soldiers, but said they suffered minor injuries.
