At least 20 dead after train catches fire in India

Police say at least 20 people have died after a train caught fire in southern India. Authorities have rushed at least four injured people to a hospital and are investigating the cause of the crash. Local police official V.C. Sajjanar says the train caught fire early Friday morning while it was roughly 200 kilometers north of Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Sajjanar says the fire appears to have been caused by a short circuit in the train's wiring. He says the passengers pulled the chain to stop the train as soon as the fire broke out and passengers jumped out of the car. Train service in the area has been disrupted or canceled.
