The Finnish news agency STT says police are reporting that nine people have been killed in a shooting at a vocational school in Finland.
Local police said earlier that several people were wounded but could not immediately confirm the report of deaths.
They said the gunman was wounded after shooting himself Tuesday at the school in Kauhajoki, 300 kilometers northwest of Helsinki.
