Labor leader Avi Gabbay accused Blue and White on Sunday of “stuttering” instead of attacking Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the West Bank issue after Netanyahu vowed to annex even isolated settlements.

Gabbay made the statement during an event at Labor’s Tel Aviv headquarters, alongside MKs Omer Bar-Lev and Stav Shaffir. He said the reason Labor would not join a Netanyahu-led government is “not only that he is corrupt,” but also because the Likud’s ideology is so different from Labor’s.

“Our path is the opposite of the direction Likud is leading Israel,” Gabbay said. “Netanyahu’s path is dangerous for Israel. He let the cat out of the bag when he said that if he wins the election, he will embark on the most risky adventure in Israel’s history: Annexing Judea and Samaria.”

Gabbay said Blue and White leader Benny Gantz has not committed to oppose annexation. He then warned that Netanyahu could end up “annexing” Blue and White to his coalition.

“Decide whether you want to be a second Likud or an alternative,” Gabbay said to Blue and White. “If you want to be part of the change camp, you have to speak more clearly.

Earlier Sunday, Gabbay and other Labor MKs went to the train station in Tel Aviv to woo voters. He said problems with the trains nationwide were due to “Netanyahu’s corruption.”
