A Sheetrit wedding
Last Thursday, former minister Meir Sheetrit and his wife, businesswoman Ruth, married off their son, David, to his beloved, Chaya. Although the groom’s father is not contending for a spot in the upcoming election, many political figures attended the wedding and were seen speculating on burning issues, including Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein; Tzipi Livni, her husband Naftali Spitzer; Amir Peretz; former minister Meir Cohen from Yesh Atid (and uncle of the groom) and his wife, Na’ama; Isaac Herzog and his wife Michal; and former minister Yaakov Perry and his wife Osnat. In addition, other guests came to celebrate with the new bride and groom: Bruria and Dudi Weissman, Zvika and Sonia Livnat; Dudi Elazra; Orit and David Efrati, and Pnina and Moshe Edri.
