The film All the Money in the World is a crime thriller directed by Ridley Scott and written by David Scarpa. It follows the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother to convince his billionaire grandfather to pay the ransom.

3. STEPPING UP
Batsheva Ensemble, the younger wing of the Batsheva Dance Company, is performing Decadance, a retrospective compilation of work from 20 years of artistic director Ohad Naharin’s career. In the piece, Naharin reconstructs his oeuvre by taking sections of existing works and reorganizing them into a fresh new theatrical experience. With a soundtrack that ranges from Vivaldi to Dean Martin, this dynamic showcase of dance features heart-rending intimate moments and exhilarating full company pieces.

4. NON-BIRDS OF A FEATHER
The exhibition “Like a Feather” showcases designers from various fields such as fashion, textile, jewelry, using nonanimal materials. Each designer will present one fashion item created especially for the exhibition, with an emphasis on vegan interpretations of animal appearance. Admission is free.

5. REMEMBER THE CHILDREN
The Ghetto Fighters House presents a new exhibition “In Memoriam: Deported and Murdered Jewish, Roma and Sinti Children, 1942−1945.” More than 19,000 children under the age of 18 were deported from the Netherlands in a total of 102 transports. Just over 1,000 of them returned. Almost 18,000 children were murdered. The exhibition is based on the book of the same name by Guus Luijters and Aline Pennewaard.

6. MUSEUM ON THE MOVE
ZUMU, Israel’s first pop-up museum, will open this week in Yeroham. ZUMU facilitates a direct meeting point between place and art, and it will look slightly different in every city. It will consist of a central space constructed within a greenhouse that has been converted into a museum space; movable shipping containers in which the constantly growing museum collection consisting of community-based works of art will be exhibited; and an existing building (in this case, the deserted Shoshanat Ya’acov School in Yeroham).
ZUMU Yeroham runs Tuesday through January 25 from Monday to Thursday.
7. LAWRENCE’S LEGACY
Jerusalem’s Yellow Submarine is hosting the Jerusalem Dynasty Quintet in a tribute concert to jazz saxophonist and educator Arnie Lawrence. US-born Lawrence, who passed away in 2005 at the age of 66, made aliya in 1997 and quickly set about transforming the local music scene in the pursuit of excellence in jazz and beyond. Entrance is free.

8. MAESTRO’S MAGIC
The Jerusalem Opera presents its take on Mozart’s masterpiece The Magic Flute. Directed by Monica Waitzfelder, the opera, which features the Jerusalem Opera singers, the Jerusalem Opera Choir, the Oratorio Jerusalem Choir and the Ashdod Symphony Orchestra, combines fantastical elements with elements of surprise as Prince Tamino sets off on a quest to save Princess Pamina, who is captured by the wicked Sarastro.

9. AFRICAN BEATS
As part of the Hullegeb Festival, iconic Israeli singer Shlomo Gronich presents a performance featuring Israeli-Ethiopian singer Ester Rada (pictured), Abate Berihun and the Sheba Chorus. This will be followed by a concert featuring three giants of Ethiopian music: Mahmoud Ahmed, Aster Aweke and Gossaye Tesfaye.

10. ROCK AND ROLL (IN THE AISLES)
Acclaimed funnyman Chris Rock will perform a stand-up show in Tel Aviv on January 8 at the Menorah Mivtachim Arena. Rock, 52, who has led a long career as an actor, writer, producer and director, is currently on his first stand-up tour in close to a decade. The comedian rose to fame in the 1990s with his stint on Saturday Night Live. He then moved on to a prolific film career, with roles in movies such as Lethal Weapon 4, Nurse Betty, Madagascar and Grown Ups.
