Every year, the Israel Air Force organizes a special flyover event to celebrate the country's Independence Day.

Different fighter planes strut their stuff over the Israeli skies from the North to the South, doing acrobatics, maneuvers and other exciting stunts.
This year, the Israel Air Force will also honor residents of the Gaza border communities in a special flyover to mark Israel's birthday.

The IDF said that the flyover was "an expression of gratitude for the firm stand that the residents showed during the past few days of fighting and throughout the years."

Here is a list of the flyover times for Israel's main cities:

Jerusalem: 11:27 a.m. and 12:40 p.m.

Tel Aviv: 11:57 a.m. and 11:59 a.m.

Haifa: 9:54 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Netanya: 11:33 a.m.

Ashdod: 11:41 a.m.

Ashkelon 11:43 a.m.

Sderot: 10:23 a.m.
