2 brothers caught selling phony American Dollars

The Jerusalem Magistrates' Court extended on Friday the remand of Yithak and Avi Eliashvilli, who were suspected of counterfeiting and distributing American Dollar bills. The two brothers from Ashkelon were caught while trying to sell $75,000 to an undercover police officer, in exchange for only NIS 70,000. The police was investigating how many counterfeit bills were produced, and whether they also made fake Israeli bills, Israel Radio reported. Their remand was extended by five days.
