Four people have been stabbed and one man shot in a series of unrelated violent crimes across the country on Tuesday and Wednesday. In Sderot, a 45-year-old man stabbed his 24-year-old son in the stomach and seriously injured him after the two become intoxicated and got involved in a verbal altercation on Tuesday evening. The father called emergency services to his address, and paramedics found his son bleeding profusely from a stomach wound. He was rushed to Barzilai hospital in Ashkelon in serious condition where he remains unconscious. The father at first denied attacking his son, but later confessed to police interrogators, saying his son "cursed me and didn't respect me." Meanwhile, in Petah Tikva, a man stabbed his long-term partner in a shopping center after suspecting her of cheating on him. According to police, the suspect took out a knife and stabbed his girlfriend following an argument. She was rushed to Beilinson hospital with stab wounds to her waist and arm, and is said to be in light condition. The boyfriend has been arrested. In the Galilee village of Shfaram, a feud erupted between two families, leading to a double stabbing attack on two men in their 20's by an 18-year-old suspect from a rival family. The suspects were taken to hospital in moderate condition. On Wednesday, a Palestinian man was seriously injured after being shot by a gunman in the Negev town of Rahat, in the town's industrial zone. Police have apprehended the gunman and launched an investigation into the shooting. In Haifa, a 64-year-old woman was mugged by two men described as Arab Israelis while opening the door to her apartment. The suspects placed a knife to the woman's throat, demanded she open the door, struck her on the head, and made off with money and jewelry. In the Sharon District of central Israel, Netanya police received a report of a man running naked outdoors. Officers dispatched to the scene brought the man in for questioning. He accused two other men of raping him in his apartment. Police are investigating his allegations. On Wednesday night, one of the suspects in the rape was found dead Wednesday night in a family member's house in the Tel Aviv area, apparently having hanged himself.
